PHASE I ENVIRONMENTAL SITE ASSESSMENTS (PHASE I ESA)

North Valley Environmental performs Phase 1 Environmental Site Assessments to meet  buyer, seller, developer, and lender due diligence requirements during property transactions. Our Phase I ESAs are prepared in accordance with the current ASTM Standard (1527-21) and can be completed in 18 days (pending availability of regulatory records). We work with current property owners/tenants, prospective buyers, SBA banks, and site realtors to complete our comprehensive assessment as quickly and thoroughly as possible. Our Phase 1 ESAs generally cost $1,800-$2000 and we strive to make the process as concise and straightforward as possible for our clients.

STORMWATER POLLUTION PREVENTION PLANS (SWPPPs)

North Valley Environmental prepares site-specific Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPPs) for residential and commercial construction sites throughout the north state. Our plans are prepared by a registered Qualified Stormwater Developer (QSD) and comply with the requirements of the State Water Resources Control Board (SWRCB). Our staff will assist with uploading required information to the SWRCB Stormwater Multiple Application Database and Tracking System (SMARTS). In addition to developing project-specific SWPPPs, we are also available to monitor, sample, and assist in any way throughout the entire CGP permit period.

ENVIRONMENTAL COMPLIANCE & PERMITTING

North Valley Environmental provides environmental permitting services for local, state, and federal projects. Our assessments are prepared by a licensed California Professional Geologist and comply with requirements of California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and National Environmental Protection Act (NEPA). North Valley Environmental staff has worked closely with the Regional Water Quality Control  Board (RWQCB), Army Corps of Engineers, State Water Resources Control Board (SWRCB), Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC), and Environmental Protection Agency (CalEPA) to monitor projects and insure regulatory compliance.
