I decided to start my own environmental consulting company after our community was devastated by the Camp Fire in late 2018. In the months following the fire, I worked on hundreds of Debris Removal Work Plans hoping to expedite the cleanup process through the county's Alternative Debris Removal Program.  As I prescribed erosion control measures and collected soil samples from the scraped building footprints of my former hometown, I realized that debris removal was merely the first stage of the long and difficult process of recovery for Paradise and other communities impacted by the Camp and Carr fires. 

 

I'm grateful that my education, training, and work experience prepared me to provide services necessary for our community to rebuild. I've worked in the environmental consulting field since 2013 and never thought the need for local environmental services would be so significant. Our company specializes in environmental services related to property development, real estate transactions, and construction - all of which have never been more essential for our community.

 

I attended Chico State, where I earned B.S. in Environmental Sciences (2012) and M.S. in Geosciences (2014).  In 2018, I became licensed by the Board of Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors and Geologists as a California Professional Geologist. My husband and business partner earned a B.A in Integrative Biology and B.S. in Environmental Sciences (2009) from U.C. Berkeley. He has 15 years of experience providing biological consulting services throughout Northern California.
